What sets the Savannah Hurricanes apart from other professional basketball teams?  The Hurricanes sets themselves apart by leveraging the game of basketball as a tool to empower and unite athletes of all levels and backgrounds. Our expert trainers help our athletes to hone their skills and reach their full potential. We focus on leadership development and encourage our athletes to become role models in their communities. We aim to engender excellence in our athletes and encourage them to become leaders in their communities. Our ultimate goal is to help shape the next generation of basketball stars and make a positive impact in our community.

We exist to provide superior quality professional basketball entertainment while elevating the brand and platform of our players as we positively impact the communities in which we play and serve.

CEO/Owner-Lindsey Streeter, Sr.

Lindsey is a retired United States Army Command Sergeant Major and businessman who dedicates his spare time providing for his community. Lindsey has a particular focus on projects and activities which affect the development of our youth and the welfare of the veteran community.

Chris is a retired United States Army First Sergeant who provides operation prowess to the Savannah Hurricanes. Chris’ attention to detail and his business acumen ensure that game day operations are managed at a superior level and that a memorable and engaging experience is realized for those in attendance.

Prep aligns the corporate’s community engagement strategy with the intent of the team’s owner. He ensures that the team’s image and brand are professionally maintained. Prep’s keen networking skills coupled with his ability to connect the community to the team make him a key asset to Hurricanes organization.

Dr. Murray is a retired United States Army Leader and is the Pastor of the Fellowship of Love Community Church (COGIC). Pastor Murray and his wife Co-Pastor Mary W. Murray bring nearly three decades of moral guidance and spiritual oversite to our team.

Coach Wilson is a retired United States Army Sergeant Major who has been coaching basketball for over two decades. A former standout player in his own right, the coach demands gritty basketball play centered around sound defense, selflessness, and superior game intelligence.

Coach Whiteman brings three decades of mental preparedness coaching to our organization. The coach ensures the players and staff are mentally prepared to perform and win. Coach Whiteman is no stranger to the world of professional athletes as his 360 Mindset content has been deployed at the most elite levels of sports play.
